So far so good. We had an issue with one piece about 3 months after receiving. Vivian was very helpful; quickly responding & replacing the pieces necessary.
I put all pieces together solo and I’ve rearranged the pieces 3 times since we received it 4 months ago. I appreciate the extra storage too (blankets, toys, seasonal decor, dvd etc)!
Putting it together was SUPER simple. Each base/seat box came with directions, the feet and brackets for each AND a screwdriver (I have like 6 now).
Assembly was super simple, put the feet on the bottoms by screwing them in, and the backs were the same plus two brackets each, then set up how you want! There’s also brackets that just slide into each seat to hold them together. the entire sofa took 2 hours with two people.
The cushions are nice and thick and super comfortable. quality is perfect. Its huge, functional and looks so cute when all done, now i just need to get throw pillows and blankets and such to bring the living room together.
The backs and arms are also movable, so you can have the seats/arms lean back a bit if you want. I kept mine straight for now.
All around this was a great purchase ☺️ I’m totally obsessed with it. Shipping was also on time. It will come in various boxes, but they do message you to let you know the individual tracking number for each which is great.
I bought this couch about 4 months ago for under $900. It's exactly what I was looking for and it adds color to my bland living room. I absolutely love the storage under each seat and it was so easy to put together. The cushions are on the firmer side and it attracts pet hair but other than that, I'm ecstatic with my purchase!
At first I was having trouble finding the piece I was looking for, and I thought that chatting with an automated system was going to take me nowhere, so I send my email address and thought I wasn’t going to get a response, but to my surprise I did within a few hours and after that it only took a few days to get what I was looking for. I am so happy and satisfied with the service and the product.
This couch is very big, comfortable, and beautiful. I could sleep on it. The cushions are stored vacuum sealed. Initially I was displeased with the thickness of the material, but after a couple weeks the cushions all inflated to its full potential and it offers a decent amount of support. So, if you don't think the padding offers enough support intially, just be patient. It's pet friendly: my cat has scratched it a few times and I don't see any visible damage. Doesn't retain cat hair. It is nice how it is modular and has a huge amount of storage.It is probably the most comfortable couch I've ever sat on. Medium to medium firm. Lots of options of sitting/lying down: lie on the chaise, lean up against the side, recline the side and lean on it, lean against the back, sit upright, slump, etc. Every one of them is comfortable. Recently I went to IKEA and Hom's Furniture just to check it out and tried all their display couches -- the comfort on this couch is equivalent to ones that cost $3000+. For less than half the price you get something with more comfort.Note that the green corduroy is closer to a teal though, at least in bright sunlight. My couch is in a room with south-facing windows and it has a pretty significant tint of blue. The one thing I would change is the colour, I wish it were the green colour in the photo. It's still stunning though.
I’ve had this couch for about two weeks now, and I absolutely love it! The flexibility of the chaise is a standout feature—it can be detached and moved around to suit your space and needs. The storage compartments are incredibly spacious and perfect for keeping extra blankets, air mattresses, and other essentials organized.
The couch was a bit flat when it first came out of the box, but after a couple of weeks and some fluffing, the cushions have become supportive and very comfortable. Cleaning is also a breeze—my dogs jumped on the chaise with dirty paws on the first day, and I easily wiped it clean with warm water and a cloth.

We absolutely love our sofa! We’ve had it 6 months now and love how versatile it is. Easy to clean we actually just shampooed it for the first time this week and it looks great! We love how easy it is to take apart and stack up in another room when we need to shampoo carpets. 10/10 would recommend honbay sofas to anyone especially families with young children. We opted to leave the feet off so our dog won’t lose all his toys under it and love this option!
Easy to assemble, very comfortable, large storage space. Just as a suggestion, inform the buyer where the assembly manual is, that is, in which box it is.
I believe this account name is under my wife’s name as she’s the one always ordering using the Prime membership but I did want to leave a glowing review about this product. Even tho I’m a man this would be EXTREMELY easy to assemble male or female! I believe it was 5 packages total for the setup I chose and the first TWO packages came to our apartment then a day after another TWO then the last day ONE. Pieces were mainly just putting the legs on the couch by twisting it into the holes already made and another piece you had to screw the bolts in but it came with a screwdriver so there isn’t any tools you’d have to buy prior. Total setup time would be less than a hour & the instruction book was very specific and clear.The ONLY con I could think of saying would be putting the pieces together after assembly. What I mean by that is since it’s a sectional to keep it together as one piece you have to attach the other pieces of the couch together by brackets on the sides of the couch which are not visible once attached of course but that was challenging simply because it cannot be done alone.Regarding price, look, & comfortability it gets 10/10 because you cannot get a sectional trundle bed for around $1K most places which is why I was initially skeptical about this purchase. My wife and I looked at a sectional VERY similar to this one at Living Spaces near us where they were asking $1500 then with taxes that’s about $1600. We looked for cheaper options and also saw videos about this sectional on TikTok + read reviews on here about it. 10/10!Honorable mention to the companies customer service Honbay as they called my # & told me exactly what days each boxes would come & were very kind.Sturdy, clean, & comfortable sectional if you are still indecisive after reading this review then you clearly didn’t read it.
I was looking for a sofa with removable/washable covers and storage in the seats and this one checked all my boxes. Initially was skeptical given that I was unfamiliar with the brand and could not try the couch in person, but I could not be more pleased with this couch. SUPER comfortable (especially with the deep seats!). I wasn't particularly excited about the reclining backrests but they are such a nice feature, love them. Dimensions were accurate, couch arrived super fast and was very easy to assemble. I did want to arrange the couch differently than the intended arrangement and customer service helped me order a couple additional back pillows (which, unlike other reviews, I found to be suitably thick) for a very reasonable price and with thorough and clear communication the whole time. Can't recommend any more highly!
This couch is fantastic! I was searching for a great sleeper sectional, but everything I found was over $2,000. This one is the best value for money. It’s a bit stiffer than I usually prefer, but it’s not a deal breaker. I also love the pull-out bed feature. It’s perfect for relaxing and binge-watching TV shows. Plus, there’s storage inside the couch for any blankets or pillows you might need. My partner and I assembled it in about an hour, and it was a breeze. Everything was labeled, and the instructions were super clear.
This has been my favorite couch ever owned! It’s a beautiful white and beige color that just lights up our living room. We love playing around with the different ways you can set it up. Has so much storage which makes clean up easy and convenient. Has a modern style, soft, and comfortable to binge watch shows with family. We were going for a modern and natural vibe and got just that. This company also has other styles like a sleeper for guests. Highly recommended.
I typically don’t write reviews, but after working with the Honbay customer service team I was compelled. I purchased this sectional a few months ago and our family absolutely loves it! However, we ended up having a few issues with a couple of the cushions. I contacted customer service by email and I was totally surprised when they responded within an hour! Vivian was wonderful to work with and got the parts to us very quickly. The couch is now good as new and we hope to have this piece for years to come.
I love this couch so much. I spent weeks agonizing over whether to purchase a couch online but I read the other reviews and decided to just do it. So glad I did. That said, a few things to note, both positive and negative:
1) this couch is big. I ordered the u-shape and I’m glad I did but most of the time the two extra ottomans will be in the guest room.
2) the seats are deep, the color is nice and the fabric is super soft. My two cats have tried hard to ruin this couch with their claws but have been unsuccessful, so this seems to be a very pet friendly couch.
3) the chair legs are incredibly short and makes the couch feel low to the ground even though the seat cushions are well stuffed and comfortably firm. I purchased my own 4-inch chair legs and it’s much better now.
4) the seat cushions are great but as others have said, the back cushions are ridiculously thin. I had to purchase stuffing and cut open the mesh inside to stuff the cushions more, and now they’re comfortable. Since the covers all come off, it was an easy thing to do.
5) this couch is so easy to assemble. You barely need the instructions. The worst part is breaking down all of the boxes and getting rid of all the plastic!
Finally, the storage in the seats, the ability to reconfigure the pieces, the look, the feel, all make this a purchase you won’t regret. Go for it!
Overview: Beautiful couch, fabric is very soft. Came in 5 boxes. We got everything the same day and no missing pieces or anything. The company did send all tracking numbers since Amazon only lists the one.
Installation: Didn’t come with instructions but it’s very easy to put together. 3 of us got it together in about 30 min. I would suggest at least having one person to help line up the brackets.
Comfort and Storage: The cushions are extremely firm. The packaging stated it takes 48 hours for them to fluff up but most weren’t vacuum sealed or anything. The storage aspect is very nice. Can keep blankets and snack trays and all sorts in there.
Notes:
* The only drawback is the pull out part is tricky to get out. Goes back in smooth but getting it out is hard.
* Also the only part you can rearrange is the pull out. The chaise will be on the left if you are sitting on the couch and you can’t change that. Something to keep in mind.
Overall this couch is beautiful and a great value and size for the price, we got in on sale and we couldn’t be happier. Very few cons. I just wish the cushions were less firm. But I think with time and wear they will get more soft I’m hoping. Would buy again.
The couch is surprisingly comfortable and was really easy to put together. We love that there’s a lot of storage. The only thing is the back cushions are pretty thin so we’ve added a lot of pillows to compensate.

After months and months of researching couches, I kept coming back to this one and I’m so glad I purchased it! Comfy and spacious! It makes my big dog look little. The fabric is super soft. The grey is a little lighter in person which I like. The couch came very quickly; I ordered Thursday and received it on Monday. It is a little low to the ground so we will probably purchase some taller legs to swap out. But we are very much enjoying it and feel like it was worth every penny.
I just finished putting together and is so comfortable, the white is so pretty and the material is nice and soft, I'm a bit nervous with the white but the covers are removable so you can take out and wash, pretty easy to assemble (open the box with the arms first, he instructions and the thing to cover the floor is in there, the also have gloves if you need).I wanted a deep couch and this one is just what I wanted, if fits perfectly on my living room. it seems like is good quality.the back cushion is a bit thiner that I expected but is not uncomfortable, the bottom one is nice and firm. Will update the review after a few months of use is anything changes.
Genuinely love the couch! I even bought an extra seat and use it as a foot rest. It’s good quality and super comfortable! I like the color a lot. It’s a lovely velvet black and just goes so well with my home. I will say it was slightly smaller than I would’ve thought but honestly I think it actually worked out best because I think it fits the space better than I was expecting so a super plus! Wasn’t missing any parts and really easy to put together! Very simple ! Highly recommend! I also got it on sale and it was worth every dollar spent!
Every section opens up. Easy to assemble. Great storage space. The feel is very comfortable. The seating is plush. We did end up adding more padding to the back rests, that was my preference, to add a bit more plush. You can see in the original pictures exactly how it comes. This was right after we set it up so it was still plumping (rebounding from being in the packages). The lounge parts can be moved too. We were offered plenty of customer support but didn't need any assistance with the assembly. Great experience, great product. I'm happy with the delivery and quality.
We really love this couch. We were searching for a while for a deep-seat modular sofa with storage inside and eventually found Honbay. We were skeptical of ordering online since we knew we wouldn't be able to sit on the couch and test it out, but we were unable to find anything close to this in stores. Overall, we love it. The seats are very deep, and very comfortable. We initially were not very excited about the back/sides being able to recline back, but now we absolutely love the feature. The one thing that we are a little disappointed in is that the back cushions are not padded nearly enough. They are quite thin and will either require more stuffing or additional pillows. But other than that, we love the couch.
This sectional is a great value for the money. It is deep, long, colorful, easy to assemble and rearrange and has storage in each section. If you have space to spread out it will make assembly easier.
I have slept on it and it was comfortable to me.
All humans and four legged creatures in our house love this couch so much! It is soft, super deep, and the storage is a huge bonus. My only complaint would be the back cushions are thin, but some memory foam fluff fixed that issue for us.
The couch arrived in separate boxes for the cushions and back/side pieces. The instructions were pretty straight forward and it took 2 of us about an hour to an hour and a half to unbox, unwrap, and put together the whole thing. The cushions are in the bottom storage area and will need a day or so to fully fluff up from being vacuum sealed.
This replaced our much more expensive furniture store couch and it was a huge upgrade, we are very happy with it so far!
I’m so glad I bit the bullet and got it. I love everything about it. The material is soft and the color is just what I wanted. I didn’t measure my space until after I ordered it and I thought it would be smaller but its the perfect size. Love the wide cushions, plus they’re removable to throw in the washer. Cushions come vacuum packed so they’ll be flat for a bit but will expand over 48 hours. My favorite things are the pullout foot rest and storage. My kids love that they have a “bed” in the couch. The only concern for me is the durability over time. I have very rambunctious 6yrold was jumping on/ into furniture all the time. So we’ll see how it holds up🤞🏼
✅Easy installation: took my mom and I 1.5 hours to unbox and put it all together. The only hardware was the screws for the wheels of the pullout. Reversible screwdriver included was a plus!!
Comes in 5 boxes, the heaviest being 83lbs. One other person to help haul it in is would be recommended.
Suited to modern minimal style, color is beige/cream/oatmeal, comfy for naps and long periods of gaming. FYI it does in fact come with those little side cushions shown in the pictures. Its easy to put together took me about 2 hours not counting breaking down the trash and cardboard. The chenille fabric is like a cross between linen weave and boucle. It doesn't show a mark when you run your hand across it. It may not be the best couch iv ever seen. But it's definitely the best couch for under 1500 dollars. Also it's great that they arrived at different days. Which makes it less appealing to porch pirates. Who wants to steal half a couch?
